Social Worker Physical Disabilities
Qualified Social Workers required within the Physical Disabilities Team
Initial 3 Month Contract (Possible extension)
Rate £38 Per hour (Umbrella Rate)
Location: Totton
**Looking for 1 Duty only Social Worker and 1 Community based **
- Undertaking statutory assessments under Sections 9 and 10 of the Care Act 2014
- Completing reviews, and carrying out CHC checklists and DSTs where appropriate
- Managing duty work, including responding to new referrals and immediate concerns
- Leading and contributing to Section 42 safeguarding enquiries
- Completing risk assessments, and progressing funding applications
- Working effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams (MDT) to ensure coordinated, person‑centred outcomes
