Business Administrator Tutor
We are seeking a fully qualified, professional, motivated, and experienced Level 2 Business Administration Tutor to join our Adult Skills team on a casual basis.
You will deliver high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment to adult learners (19+) both online and face‑to‑face across Hampshire.
This role involves planning, delivering, and reviewing engaging Business Administration learning programmes that inspire learners to develop skills, achieve qualifications, and progress into further learning or employment.
You will deliver Business Administration content aligned to Level 2 standards, including areas such as communication, customer service, administrative practices, record keeping, ICT skills, and workplace organisation.
You will also support continuous professional improvement through reflective practice and contribute to team planning and promotional activity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver Business Administration teaching sessions to individuals and groups.
- Plan a detailed scheme of work and weekly lesson plans that align with the qualification requirements and meet both the learner and employer needs.
- Set, mark, and assess assignments; maintaining learners' Individual Learning Plans.
- Teach using a blended learning approach including face‑to‑face and Microsoft Teams.
- Track learner progress and maintain accurate administrative records on the learner management system.
- Prepare learners for accreditation and progression.
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons, adapting the content and assessment methods to multi‑level groups.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Vocational experience within a business administration or related occupation, with experience teaching, training or assessing adults in a Business Administration or related field.
- Knowledge of Level 2 Business Administration qualification standards
Ability to use a variety of assessment methods to check learners' knowledge and understanding against the qualification specification to ensure they complete in a timely manner.
- Strong administrative, organisational and digital skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver learning confidently to groups and individuals via Microsoft Teams
