Exciting news! Our new Business Manager, Denise Lambourne, joined our Connect2Hampshire team on Monday and is already making quite an impression.
We thought we’d dive a little deeper to find out what her plans are for the new joint venture and a little more about her background. See her interview below…
What are your plans for the Connect2Hampshire team?
I am delighted to be on board with the joint venture with Hampshire County Council. As Business Manager, my focus will be to support the team in service delivery to all our business partners.
I am a strong believer in building client relationships to enhance the lives of all that we come in to contact with.
What is your recruitment background?
I have been in recruitment for 20 years, 12 of which was running my own recruitment agency.
My knowledge of client relationships, retention of staff and correct engagement of all candidates will play a valuable part in ensuring we are in a business relationship for longevity. Building trust, knowledge and providing the service levels are truly what I believe in, and will take this forward in this current position as Business Manager.
What did you do prior to working in recruitment?
My working career (many years) has always been around customer service and service delivery.
Care, empathy, trust and understanding are my core values, aligning with our company values of ethical, caring and trustworthy, and enjoy the relationship building to deliver this to all of my end users.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
My spare time reflects a very different side…the need for speed! Most weekends I can be found alongside a race circuit as my family have all been keen motorcycle road racers. Now we spectate at club level, BSB, WSBK and GPs.
I guess the summary is, I am an adrenaline junky whether I’m at work or racing!
